Adopt a Highway Spring 2015

On a cool October 17th, 2015, approximately 34 people, representing a partnership of 3 different groups, Rockport Rotary, R-F Interact club and the Church of Jesus Christ, LDS, conducted a Trash Clean-up along the two miles (from Linden to 1781 beyond the Hwy 35 By-pass intersection, with Hwy 2165).  This Clean-up, organized by the Rockport Rotary Club, is one of two clean-ups, the Rotary organizes every year under the "Adopt a Highway" program of the Texas Dept. of Transportation.  It was very successful - about 28 bags of trash were collected by the group.
