How to make up a missed meeting

Make-up meetings for Rockport Rotary Club members are necessary whenever you are unable to attend Rockport Rotary weekly club meeting as a result of demanding business or professional commitments, extensive travel, or confinement due to ill health or disability. A club member must attend or make up at least 50 percent of regular club meetings in each half of the year (though some clubs may have more stringent requirements). Any missed meetings must be made up within 14 days of a regular meeting.  If traveling, club members are encouraged to visit clubs in the new area to make up a missed meeting.

You have three choices for make-ups.

1. Attending a meeting at one of the other Rotary Clubs in close proximity. The Clubs, meeting time, and locations are listed below.
2. Participate in an interactive activity on a Rotary e-club website. This is an online option. Several are listed below. There is also a link to the Rotary International site to search for eClub - Search Here.
3. Attending a board meeting, a district function or a regular meeting of a local Rotaract club, Interact club, Rotary Community Corps or Rotary Fellowship.

The acknowledgement of the make-up meeting needs to be provided within two weeks of missed club meeting to the Club Secretary.
