Rotarian Jim Elder, President of Rockport Rotary Club, is the team leader for this years GSE from District 5930 to the Philippines.

Welcome! We are the Rotary International Group Study Exchange (GSE) group from South Texas, District 5930. We are currently preparing for our trip to the Philippines!! We will be visiting District 3860 in Cebu and Mindanao, Philippines. We are very excited. There is a lot to do before our departure on February 8th. Let’s meet the team!
Meet GSE Group Leader Jim Elder. Jim lives in Rockport, Texas and is retired. Prior to retirement, Jim was a pilot in the U.S. Navy, eared a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Arts, taught Theater at universities, and was a corporate pilot.
Meet GSE team member Alexis Cano. Alexis lives in Kingsville, Texas and works as the International Student Advisor at Texas A & M - Kingsville. Alexis spends her free time with her husband and her 3 year old son.
Meet GSE team member Tiffanie Hoover. Tiffanie lives in Rockport, Texas and works for her families business that specializes in R/V and boat sales and service. Tiffanie spends her free time with her husband and 2 young boys.
Meet GSE team member Colleen McCue. Colleen lives in Port Aransas, Texas and works as the Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator at the Mission-Aransas National Estuarine Research Reserve and the University of Texas Marine Science Institute. Colleen moved to South Texas just a year ago and is loving it.
Meet GSE team member Rae Mooney. Rae lives in Port Aransas, Texas and works as a marine scientist for the the Mission-Aransas National Estuarine Research Reserve and the University of Texas Marine Science Institute. Rae loves her job because she gets to work outside on the water.
